Asset Protection Agent

The primary function of the Asset Protection Agent (APA) is to meet asset protection objectives, prevent inventory shrinkage and deter criminal activity. This includes providing coaching/ training to associates and store leadership on identifying and deterring external theft through implementing Lowe s shrink programs. The APA will coordinate efforts with the Senior Asset Protection Manager (Sr. APM), District Asset Protection Manager (DAPM) and Market Organized Crime Manager (MORCM) to identify key merchandise and stores that are being externally impacted. Based on external and organized crime activity the APA will leverage data/ resources to create a plan addressing exposures with training and external focuses to reduce activity. The APA is responsible for investigating and resolving issues related to criminal activity in accordance with local, state, and federal laws or company policy. Primarily focused on asset protection, operations, and safety policies/ procedures, the APA will monitor merchandise, customer, and associate activity as needed, reporting infractions to Store and AP Leadership. The APA will also support investigations of all company policies/ procedures when required. An individual in this position may on occasion need to effectively respond to potentially violent and/or physical altercations and will therefore need the ability to make quick, effective decisions and maintain an appropriate level of composure. Lastly, the Asset Protection Agent is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.

Asset Protection and Safety Manager

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As an Asset Protection & Safety Manager, this means: • Helping Store Operational Leadership team ensure associates are delivering friendly, professional, timely service to all customers who shop the store. • Monitoring receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for assigned store. • Championing initiatives and establishing processes and controls that improve safety/hazmat, shrink, and security outcomes. The Asset Protection & Safety Manager (APSM) oversees and coordinates programs and processes to minimize loss while maintaining a safe working and shopping environment. This associate monitors and solves for criminal activities, coaches and trains associates, and oversees inventory levels to help with shrink and shortages. The APSM may need to respond to violent altercations to keep customers and staff safe. The Asset Protection & Safety Manager is seen as an expert on safety reports, guidelines, and regulations. Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores

Senior Asset Protection Manager

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Senior Asset Protection Manager, this means: • Helping Store Operational Leadership team ensure associates are delivering friendly, professional, timely service to all customers who shop the store. • Overseeing trends and solutions to address inventory shrink across multiple stores. • Championing strategic asset protection plans that improve safety and security outcomes. The Senior Asset Protection Manager oversees safety and asset protection programs and processes in the across multiple stores. This associate ensures the stores adhere to OSHA standards, supports OSHA investigations, trains and coaches associates on Asset Protection programs, and monitors overall store safety. The Senior Asset Protection Manager is seen as an expert on safety related reports, guidelines, and regulations. Travel Requirements: This role will require frequent travel between stores within the district.
