Essential Functions-Job Duties:
- Establish and maintain a store loss prevention program to provide for the security of company assets from loss due to criminal activity and critical emergency situations.
- Directly supervise loss prevention associates.
- Conduct internal investigations and interviews as required.
- Detect and apprehend shoplifters.
- Develop and maintain strong channels of communication with store management and associates. Work together to identify and correct shortage causing situations.
- Complete all loss prevention reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain good public relations with the local judicial officials and surrounding law enforcement agencies.
- Monitor store adherence to Corporate Asset Protection standards.
