Asset Protection Department

Significant changes have occurred within Winn-Dixie’s Asset Protection Department during the past six months where new leadership is now managing the program with an unprecedented level of support from senior management. Specifically, a defined set of core values have recently been adopted which targets the core competencies of Trust, Teamwork, Personal Growth, Accountability, Goal Oriented Objectives, Problem-Solving, Excellence, Passion for Success, Agent of Change and other attributes which underscore the mission of the Department to develop a world class program.

The new Asset Protection Department has a clear purpose of increasing profitability through organized shrink, accident and bad check reduction initiatives. The new department is placing a premium on people while embracing state of the art technology to meet the rigorous demands encountered in a complex grocery retail environment.

Reference any successful organization and you will find a strong emphasis placed on associate training and personal growth. These areas are now fully embraced in the new department In fact; it is one of the required elements in all job descriptions within the department. Our associates will not only be supported to achieve personal growth through sponsored and approved training programs, but they will be expected to facilitate continued education and professional development as a part of their measured performance objectives.
